valentines pretzel treats
Dear Pinterest,
I want my money and my time back. Thank you very much. I found adorable homemade valentines on your boards and thought I could be the coolest mom on the block. You know what? There should have been a little price tag in the corner letting me know that these little gems would cost me a week’s salary. Seriously. Color copying, candy, stock paper…those little 5 year old would have done just fine with Hello Kitty. ALSO…if I had half a brain, I would have realized that there were two cards on each sheet of paper and therefore wouldn’t have copied TWICE as many valentines as I needed. Seriously…this deserves to go on the pinterest fail website. For real.
Signed,
Blake
PS. you wont be getting a valentine, even if I do have 70 left over!
On the bright side, the one thing that I did end up with was an extra bag of kisses, some m and ms, and a desire to stick one to pinterest. So here you have it. Valentine’s pretzel treats. Cheap, easy, and if you make too many, no one will make fun of your math skills.
what you need:
square pretzels
hershey kisses
m and m’s (mine were valentines colors, but you could do this for any holiday!)
what you do:
preheat the oven to 200
line the pretzels on a baking sheet, place one hershey kiss (unwrapped of course) on top of each pretzel.
put in the oven for 5-7 minutes. Until the hershey kisses are completely soft, but not melted.
Place one m and m on each kiss and press down so that the chocolate spreads over the pretzel.
Allow the treats to cool (put them in the fridge if you or your “guests” are impatient)
serve and enjoy!

I am just a girl who loves to cook, entertain, and eat. I also happen to be a mom, a preschool director, a blogger, and someone who hopes to find a way to incorporate all my loves to buy a beach house in Costa Rica…or maybe just a book about the beach in Costa Rica.
Made these today. Thanks! Yummy yummy!
